5th Annual Lebowski Fest - Louisville,
KY September 29th & 30th, 2006
Lebowski Art Show  Painting by Johnny Crap The art show will be curated by Katie Beach in conjunction with The Greenhouse Arts Project. The official Lebowski Fest opening will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28th @ The Greenhouse Arts Project space located at 1708 Frankfort Ave (near the North End Cafe). The show will remain on display for the FAT (Frankfort Ave Trolley Hop) on Friday Sept 29th. Select pieces will be on display at the Garden Party on Saturday Sept. 30th at The Executive Bowl (911 Phillips Ln). The entire show will move to The Monkey Wrench (1025 Barret Ave) for the month of October. A closing reception will be held at the Monkey Wrench at the end of October The opening on Sept 28th and 29th are free and open to the public. Theme: Lebowski and/or Bowling All Medium Welcome: Painting, sculpture, photography, video, collage, fiber, screen-printing, mixed-media, what-have-you To Submit a piece for consideration: 1. Email a high-quality image of your piece to cinderblockgallery (at) yahoo.com. 2. Deadline is 3pm EST, September 20th, 2006. 3. If selected, piece must be ready to mount and no bigger than 4' x 4' 4. If the artist is out of the Louisville area, the piece must shipped/delivered to the gallery no later than September 22nd. |
Lebowksi Fest is not affiliated with the creators of The Big Lebowski. We are just huge fans of this Coen Brothers masterpiece.
