Bands

Bling Kong!
- The Achiever Pleaser returning to rock their 3rd Lebowski Fest
in New York. A rock extravaganza featuring 4 cheerleaders, 3 drummers,
2 guitarists, 1 bassist and a video DJ. Truly a sight to behold.
They will be performing BLING KONG II - a choose-your-own-adventure
rock-opera.

Hair
Supply (A Metal Tribute to Air Supply) - Returning after leaving
the crowd in awe of their shredding riffs and spandex zebra print
unitards last year. New York Press says that Hair Supply
"hammers out the hits with an intensity that frees their audience
from feeling like a bunch of smug hipsters."
The Village Voice says that "Air Supply existed so Hair
Supply could exist, because to seriously weigh the merits of All
Out of Love would shrink your nads. The wacky-tacky dudes
from Satanicide perform heavy metal covers of Air Supply songs with
such passion, its damn near disturbing."
The Prayers
and Tears of Arthur Digby Sellers - Aside from the name being
a reference to Little Larry's father in the iron lung, these boys
are not exactly lightweights. Pitchfork Media says that "it's
hard not to imagine that Wright is the sort of restrained, concise
singer that [Conor] Oberst might one day grow into." Their
latest full length features contributions from members of Polyphonic
Spree, Sufjan Stevens and Pedro The Lion.
Brigid Kaelin (Louisville, KY) Just added to the NYC bill. She will give us a brief cameo and has promised to do her "Man in Me" cover that she played for the Lebowski Live Radio hour this year.
