Japanese Baseball Shirt
The man on the shirt is Japanese baseball player Kaoru Betto. Kaoru
Betto was one of the first Japanese power hitters and played for
the Osaka Tigers in the late 1940s. He is known as “The Gentleman
of Baseball.”
The Characters at the top loosely translate to "Strongly Influential."
This is similar to the shirt worn by The Dude in The Big Lebowski.
The shirt worn in the film actually belongs to Jeff Bridges as he
also wore it in The Fisher King.
Also, Dude, "Chinaman" is not the preferred nomenclature,
"Asian-American" please.
Screen-printed on a preshrunk 90% cotton, 10% poly Anvil Jersey.
