Achievers Pray for this dvd!!!

Little update on the DVD, for those interested: the current Rolling Stone with Robert Downey, Jr. on the cover has a HUGE two-page Coen Brothers ad, plugging both the 10th anniversary DVD and new movie Burn After Reading. There's also a contest going on where the prize is a free copy of the new DVD

Well, that's where you and I part company. I will lend out any of my DVDs except TBL. Usually if I want to get the fucking DVDs back I have to invite the lendees over to my house to watch it with me. Right now I have three or four of my favorite movies out on perpetual (read "permanent") loan. But when it comes to TBL I say, "Really you HAVE to watch it. I'd loan it to you but if you didn't return it I'd have to kill you. Go rent it."    Yeah, I know, I have two copies. But they're different versions. Yes, there is an unspoken message here, it's "Get your own fucking DVD".

The whole thing is done by Chung! It's a mini version of the full length feature that will premiere at the fest this July

As many times as the Dude says "fuck"? I admit they're gonna get my 'hard' earned denero every time they put out something new. But from the title of the thread, who exactly are we prayin' to on this one?

Oh, yeah. DVD release. I didn't click on the links because I'm tired and I should be in bed but I can't imagine what could be so special about a 10th Anniversary DVD. Unless, of course, it contained an interview with the Founding Dudes or clips from a Fest. I would consider finding a couple more cubic inches in the DVD cabinet for that.
