Well, that's where you and I part company. I will lend out any of my DVDs except TBL. Usually if I want to get the fucking DVDs back I have to invite the lendees over to my house to watch it with me. Right now I have three or four of my favorite movies out on perpetual (read "permanent") loan. But when it comes to TBL I say, "Really you HAVE to watch it. I'd loan it to you but if you didn't return it I'd have to kill you. Go rent it."    Yeah, I know, I have two copies. But they're different versions. Yes, there is an unspoken message here, it's "Get your own fucking DVD".

Little update on the DVD, for those interested: the current Rolling Stone with Robert Downey, Jr. on the cover has a HUGE two-page Coen Brothers ad, plugging both the 10th anniversary DVD and new movie Burn After Reading. There's also a contest going on where the prize is a free copy of the new DVD

I noticed that the limited edition version that comes with bowling ball package is like twice the price.For that plastic bowling ball. Anyhoo, Im just ordering the dvds sans the, uh, bowling ball.

they will be given to all contest 1st place winners and will be given away door prize style at the Opening Party and Bowling Party

Louaval was the original location and still
the best location of Lebowski Fest.

Besides, it is the only one Dragonlady will tolerate.
