 Looking for Info on the 2006 LA Event - Click Here! Lebowski Fest West - LA 2005 Highlights! Thanks to the over 1600 Achievers who made the Lebowski dream come true in LA. Over 30 US States were represented and both events sold out a week in advance. People traveled from Maine, Mass, Florida, Philly, Pittsburgh, DC, Jersey and even Ecuador! For a good summary check out this article or this one. Umm, Jeff Bridges showed up!  Jeff Bridges doing a cover of Dylan's "The Man In Me" - a moment which defies description.  Jeff Bridges being very dude-like - a laid back, sweet, and genuine guy. David Huddleston (The Big Lebowski) yelling "The Bums Lost!" on the mic to 1000 screaming Achievers.  Robin Jones (Ralph's Checkout Girl) bringing her twin sister and my head almost exploding.  A couple who traveled from Ecuador and got engaged at the bowling alley. Congrats Faeren and Derek who also won the farthest traveled contest.  The actor that played Lawrence "Chunk" Cohen in Goonies showed up! You've come a long way! Thanks for the fond childhood memories - we love the Goonies!  The incredibly creative costumes on saturday!  The two Valkyries kissing during the contest finals   She can roll, too. (photo by J. Emilio Flores) John Flansburg from They Might Be Giants stopping by the Knitting Factory and me gushing all over him like a little school girl. I kept saying "But you dont understand, man!"  Getting lost in Compton on the way to the bowling alley. Jeff Bridges asking me to try on his right "jelly" sandal and suggesting I remove my sock for the full experience.  More to come... LA Photos!
