Lebowski Fest Musical Guests
Round about the 3rd Annual Lebowski Fest in June if 2004, we added
live music to the event. Here is a list of bands that have rocked
the fest so far.

Louisville's own My
Morning Jacket played the 3rd Annual Lebowski
Fest in Louisville, KY on June 18th, 2004 while fireworks exploded

in Louisville, KY on July 22nd, 2005 where the world's largest Achiever
conga line was formed.

Dr. Dog opened the 6th Annual with Tumblin Tumbleweeds and added "Man in Me" and a mean Captain Beefheart cover to their original set

Jeff Bridges!
Yes, Jeff Bridges - His Dudeness himself popped in at The Knitting Factory in LA and
played a set including the best cover of Bob Dylan's "The Man
in Me" you've ever heard.
Wax Fang!
Jake Heustis, Kevin Ratterman and Scott Carney of Wax Fang cut off some johnsons in Louisville at the Annual 2006 Lebowski Fest.
Kentucky Prophet

Kentucky Prophet steals the show at the 6th Anual Garden Party
Corn Mo!

What do you get when you cross meat loaf and jack black?
Corn Mo wowed
the audience at the 4th Annual fest with his operatic vocals, mean
accordian skills and his message that there is life beyond spreadsheets
and health insurance. Long live Corn Mo!
Will Oldham

Living Louisville Legend, Bonnie "Prince' Billy stopped by the Lebowski
Live Lunch in July 2005 to sing "I got it bad, and that ain't
good."
Bling Kong!
Bling
Kong is straight from Brooklyn and straight-up the most exciting
experience in live music. 3 drummers, 4 cheerleaders, video DJ, etc.
Always a favorite at The Knitting Factory for Lebowski
Fest New York.
Death Ray Davies!
The
Deathray Davies headlined the 4th Annual Garden Party in Louisville.
Eddie Baytos featuring Edie McClurg!

Edie
McClurg (of Ferris Buller's Day Off, The Hogan Family, The Smurfs,
etc) plays a mean frattoir with the zydeco band, Eddie and The Nervous
Brothers.

Louisville's own,
King Kong covers Kraftwerk's "Autobahn" at the 2003 Lebowski Live Lunch.

The Yuppie
Pricks -Handsome, talented and rich beyond your wildest
dreams, they don't need you - you don't need them. Just hope they
don't back over you with their BMW's after stealing your girlfriend.
Stock tips, grooming advice, fashion schooling and some straight ahead
punk tunes with refreshing capitalist lyrics.
Autobahn
SKL has been known to take the form of Autobahn
in New York, LA and Austin.
The Recliners

The Recliners
bring you all of your favorite tunes - lounge-style. Quiet Riot and
AC/DC never sounded so swanky. Voted Best Lounge/Swing band by The
Austin Chronicle.
Hair Supply!
Hair
Supply is an Air Supply metal tribute band. They completely blew
away the sold out crowd at The Knitting Factory in New York and made
the dressing room smell funny for days.
Blonde From Fargo!

Peter
Stormare, who played Uli the Nihilist, brought his band Blonde
From Fargo to play The Knitting Factory for Lebowski Fest West
in LA.
